KFC has decided to do things a bit differently this time. They have decided to advertise to people from outerspace. Perhaps the astronauts can see it. Or even aliens from many billion of miles away with their gigantic telescope can view this ad.

If you look at the satellite picture from above from Sydney Morning Herald, it shows how the advertisement would look like from space. So don’t be surprise next time if you see some funny looking creatures or aliens telling you, “We come for the buffet, take me to your KFC” rather than “we come in peace, take me to your leader!”

The article from Sydney Morning Herald can be found here:

Fast food becomes vast food with KFC turning a chunk of Nevada desert into a logo large enough to see from space.

Kentucky Fried Chicken says it is the world’s first brand that can be seen from space - though how many astronauts that’s likely to attract is unclear.

The company is calling the 8129 square metre image of Colonel Sanders an “astrovertisement”. It’s located in Rachel, Nevada, which earthtimes.org describes as the UFO capital of the world. Graham Allan, president of KFC International, says the new advertising idea “contemporises” the brand. “We want everyone in the universe to see KFC’s newlook of the future,” he said.

Not everyone will see it his way.
