Malaysia tak boleh and Malaysia bodoh has taken a new meaning. A burglar who did not manage to break into the house managed not only to be identified but has his car being compounded by the local police as well. He left his identity card inside his cars - obviously not a stolen car and tried to break into a house. He was startled by the woman of the house who came back suddenly and he had to jump off the wall to run away.

HOW much worse can things get for a criminal?
The man was attempting to break into a single-storey terrace house when the owner showed up. So the would-be burglar had to flee empty-handed. Unfortunately for him, his getaway vehicle was obstructed by a lorry that had been parked illegally. So he had no choice but to flee on foot.
And what this bungling burglar didn’t realise was that he had also left his identity card in the car. The botched break-in happened in Muar on Thursday evening.
Sin Chew Daily News reported that the homeowner, identified only as Mrs Shen, returned just as the man was trying to break into her house. She spotted the man standing in the middle of the garden. He had apparently not been able to enter the house yet.
ESCAPE
When he realised that he had been spotted, the man decided to make his escape. His black car was parked right outside the house and it would have allowed him a quick getaway. But a lorry was blocking it. In his panic, the man climbed over a wall and ran to a construction site opposite the house.Mrs Shen described the man as small-sized, wearing a white T-shirt with black pants. He was also wearing a cap and carrying a bag.
She rang her husband for help and he rushed home immediately.
Mr Shen told Sin Chew Daily News that after searching the man’s car, he found an identity card and a set of break-in tools.
He also rode his motorcycle around the neighbourhood, trying to spot the man from his wife’s description, but did not find him.
The would-be burglar’s car and identity card have been seized by the police. They are now trying to track him down.
