In some part of the article, it seems that there are members who are willing to make it look like a second mongolian model murder scenario repeating itself.
Read all about it here in Newpaper. The following is extracted from the news article:
POPULAR Indonesian singer Marie Eva, 29, has admitted that she had made a nude video with a married politician, confirming rumours that began circulating last week.
he video, which was shot with a camera phone and is now circulating on the Internet, shows the dangdut singer and a senior member of Golkar, Indonesia’s biggest political party, naked in a hotel room.
The scandal erupted last week when the 42-second video was sent to various handphones and e-mail addresses, forcing Golkar leaders to put together an investigation team to establish whether the video was authentic.
During a press conference last night, Ms Eva told reporters that the video was shot when she was having an affair with the politician, who was identified by the initials YZ in the Indonesian media.
‘Actually it is an old story. I know the recording of the indecent scene was made two years ago,’ she said. In the video, Ms Eva is seen lying on a bed partially covered with sheets as she laughs and talks to YZ, who was standing naked next to her.
She added that she was in love with YZ, who had financed her first album. But their affair ended shortly after the video was made.
ABORTION CLIAM
Ms Eva also claimed that she was pregnant with YZ’s child, but was pressured to get an abortion by YZ and his wife. However, she denied that she was the one who leaked the video to the public.According to the Sydney Morning Herald, the video is believed to have been shot while the pair were campaigning for Golkar. Ms Eva also claimed that Golkar members had been trying to get her to leave Indonesia for her own safety.
Her lawyer, Mr Ruhut Sitompul, told the Detik news portal that some Golkar members had sent her a plane ticket and told her to leave for Singapore. However, he advised her to stay in Jakarta so they could work out how to deal with the situation.
