It is probably the fantasy for some, but a pair of principal and teacher in Chicago had been taped and featured in a video tape. Frankly, I have heard of rumours in the past regarding inappropriate behaviour by one of my professors but I have yet to see one that made it to the limelight. So for some teachers, being sent to the principal’s office may have an all new meaning soon.

THEY should have been planning class work for their students. Instead, a principal and a teacher at a Chicago elementary school had sex in the principal’s office. Without their knowledge, they were being taped.
Worse still, the 2 1/2-hour video was sent anonymously last week to some parents of students, reported The Associated Press.
Now, both have submitted their resignations. The principal of the US school, Mr Leroy Coleman, cited health reasons, while his lover-teacher, Ms Janet Lofton, cited ill health in the family.
But another interesting part in this episode is the timing of the ‘release’ of the DVD - just days before the school board election that will take place on Tuesday.
The series of sexual romps had apparently been taped over two months from December last year.
‘VERY GRAPHIC’
Ms Kim Grivakis, mother of a 13-year-old girl and 11-year-old boy who attend the school, said she received a copy of the DVD in the mail on Wednesday.‘It made me sick,’ said Ms Grivakis. ‘It’s very graphic. I can’t tell you how graphic because I have two children standing right here.’
Authorities are now investigating the possibility that it could have been a stunt to manipulate the board elections. Currently, eight candidates are competing for four slots.
Mr John Izzo, attorney for the school board said: ‘It’s very disturbing … that somebody had this information, didn’t come forward to the school board or superintendent, held on to it for a couple of months and then sent it to the media five days before the board election.’
The Chicago Sun-Times reported that the video seems to have been made with a camera hidden in the ceiling.
It captured a mostly clothed couple in a variety of positions and in an assortment of sexual acts, including some at the edge of a desk covered with carefully stacked papers.
The camera has not been found and authorities are investigating.
