Interestingly in Malaysia a policeman who moonlights as a referee decided that if players were to attack him, he could always rely on his gun. When I first read the headlines, I thought that it may have happened in a third world country but was reasonably surprised that it happened in Malaysia.

In this rather interesting piece of news from India, quite a number of cops in Mumbai, 144 to be exact are found to have at least two families. This is a problem which range from the lowest constable to the highest senior inspectors. Problems often arises when the cop dies and the families would literally strangle one another for the wealth left behind. Frankly I don’t know if India allows the practise of bigamy.
